Appointment Scheduling

Once the initial appointment is made, you will be guided to a secure client portal, where you can share areas of concern and what brings you into treatment at this time. You will be asked to complete a few forms to help me better understand your needs, prior to coming into the office.
You will also receive guidance regarding information related to privacy and confidentiality, cancellations, missed sessions, payment and general practice concerns.
Appointments are typically 45–50 minutes in length. We will discuss how frequently you need to be seen based on your need, either weekly or every other week. You are free to discontinue treatment at any time, but I would encourage you to please discuss any decisions with me before termination.
If you are experiencing a psychiatric or mental health emergency and need immediate support, please call or text the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by dialing 988. If you are in immediate danger or require urgent medical assistance, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
You may also contact my office at (646) 537-2545; however, please do not rely on email or voicemail for urgent or emergency situations. If you are unable to reach me and require immediate assistance, please use the emergency resources listed above.
Please note that e-mail is only used for scheduling or confirmation of appointments.
